Saudi Arabia Tourist Visa for Pakistanis: Requirements and Process

Since Saudi Arabia introduced its e-Visa tourist visa program, Pakistani travellers have had a route into the country for leisure and sightseeing that's separate from Umrah or Hajj visas — meaning you no longer need a religious purpose to visit destinations like AlUla, Riyadh, or the Red Sea coast.

The Saudi tourist e-Visa is generally a multiple-entry visa valid for one year, allowing stays of up to 90 days per visit, though exact terms can be revised by Saudi authorities, so current details should always be confirmed at time of application. Documents typically required include a passport valid for at least six months, a digital photo, and proof of accommodation or itinerary.

Important distinction: a tourist e-Visa does not permit performing Umrah — Umrah still requires its own dedicated visa process through the Nusuk platform via a licensed agency. If your trip combines sightseeing with Umrah, this needs to be planned as two coordinated pieces, not assumed to be covered under one visa type.
